Tally is here to make money, tax and finance make a whole lot more sense.

But, and here comes the fine print, the information on this website, and in Tally workshops, courses, resources, emails and social media, is general information and financial education only.

It isn’t financial product advice, and it hasn’t been created with your personal objectives, financial situation or needs in mind.

In other words: I can help you understand the what, why and how of money. I’m not here to tell you which super fund, investment, insurance policy or other financial product you should buy, sell, keep or ditch.

Examples and scenarios are there to make complicated things less complicated. They’re examples, not instructions for what you personally should do.

Before making a decision about a financial product, consider your own circumstances, read the relevant disclosure documents and, where appropriate, speak to someone appropriately licensed to give you personal financial advice.

Tax is a little different. Where you’ve actually engaged Tally to provide tax or accounting services, I can provide those services in my professional capacity as a Registered Tax Agent. Your tax situation is, unsurprisingly, about your tax situation.

I do my best to keep everything accurate and up to date, but tax laws, thresholds, rates and financial rules have an annoying habit of changing. Something that was correct when it was published may not stay that way forever.
