Kimberlee Brown
I’ve spent 25 years working in accounting, tax, finance and superannuation.
I’ve also ignored my own financial to-do list more times than I care to admit.
Turns out knowing what you should do with money and actually doing it are two very different things.
I’m human.
So are you.
That’s why I created TALLY.
I’m a CPA and Registered Tax Agent, with degrees in Commerce and Law.
Over the past 25 years I’ve:
Led finance and tax teams in Australia and internationally
Set up national divisions for global tax companies
Worked with fintech startups and e-commerce businesses
Built and run multiple small businesses
I also sit on the board of the State Theatre Company of South Australia and chair their Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
But credentials aside, the thing I care about most is women understanding money.
Because when women understand money, they gain independence, freedom and choice.
Here’s the awkward truth.
I’ve always known what I was supposed to do with money.
And yet… there have been plenty of times I didn’t do it.
Avoided things.
Put things off.
Pretended future Kimberlee would deal with it.
Oh the shame.
So if you’ve ever ignored your finances because they feel confusing, overwhelming, or slightly terrifying…
You’re not broken.
You’re normal.
A few other things about me:
I’m ‘way too much’ but I’m almost ok with it. The ADHD diagnosis helped
Will give you an epic TV show recommendation because I watch ALL the shows
