Kimberlee Brown is an experienced accountant, consultant, entrepreneur and board director. She holds a double degree in Commerce and Law from the University of Adelaide, Kimberlee is also a CPA with deep expertise in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).

She spent five years as General Manager of a national SMSF specialist firm, created and led the SMSF offering for H&R Block for six years, and was Chief Operating Officer of a Sydney-based fintech focused on closing the gender super gap.

In XXXX she established Quick Brown Fox Finance, a tax, accounting and business consultancy, with a particular focus on supporting women in small business and empowering females to understand their finances.

Now called TALLY, she continues to provide these services along with a suite of education programs to inform, empower and maybe even excite people about their finances and small business.

Kimberlee is also the founder of Pop Rock Park, a wholesale jewellery business, and owner of Geranium, a gift and homewares store on Halifax Street in Adelaide.

An active contributor to the not-for-profit sector, Kimberlee has served on numerous boards and is currently a board member of State Theatre Company South Australia, where she also chairs the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.

THE REALITY

Hello! I’m Kimberlee. Yes, I’m a creative. No, I’m not that kind of creative, I’m not a creative accountant. (The ATO and I are very much on the same page, thank you.)

I’ve been a tax accountant for over 25 years, with all the fancy credentials, Commerce/Law double degree, CPA, leadership roles, fintech, SMSFs, the works.

But what you really need to know? I speak human. I make tax, finance and accounting make sense.

You won’t get smoke and mirrors here. If it’s tax return preparation you need, I’ll help you legally and ethically maximise your deductions, but if you're looking for a sneaky shortcut, this is not your vibe, and I am not your girl. Doing your tax return is not the tooth fairy coming to leave you a wad of cash.

​But! If you want to feel empowered about your finances, ask every question (twice, if needed), and finally understand how your income tax return actually works, then we’ll get along famously. There’s even a session for that.

​Finances don’t need to be scary. Ideally, they’re even a bit exciting. (Too much? Ok. Let’s settle for “not terrifying.”)
